Thai food, tp yg ni diolah ikut selera burma. Ke Myanmar beberapa hari lps and sempat merasa Tom yam dikedai halal disana. Sgt best!! Ini hasil try Tom yam santan ala2 burma!

Bahan-bahan ( 3-4 orang )

  • 4 cawan air biasa
  • Sebatang serai Dihiris halus2
  • 4-5 hiris lengkuas. Nk guna yg kering pun boleh.
  • 4 sudu minyak cili. Klau xde, guna Tom yam paste pun boleh
  • 5 biji cili padi
  • Daun ketumbar - skali dengan akarnya
  • 6 ekor udang XL (optional)
  • Dada ayam dipotong (optional)
  • 1/2 cawan santan
  • Sayur (terpulang nak ape)
  • 6 sudu sos ikan
  • 3 helai daun limau purut (dipotong dua atau dikoyak)
  • 1/2 biji lemon dan sebiji limau purut
  • 1 ketul tauhu (potong jd cube)

Cara-cara

  1. Isi air biasa kedalam periuk. Masukkan sekali akar daun ketumbar. Biarkan air mendidih.
  2. Bila air dah mendidih dan bau ketumbar dh naik, masukkan daun limau purut, serai dan lengkuas. Biarkan seketika.
  3. Bila dah agak 1 minit, masukkan daun ketumbar yg dihiris serta minyak cili dalam 3 sudu. Klau xde minyak cili, masukkan Tom yam paste je. Sos ikan masukkan juga. Biarkan mendidih.
  4. Kemudian masukkan ayam dan udang
  5. Masukkan santan. Biarkan mendidih.
  6. Bila dah biar dlm seminit, masukkan sayur dan tauhu. Biarkan dlm 1-2 minit. Kacau kadang2.
  7. Dalam bekas utk hidang, masukkan air jus lemon dan limau tadi, juga cili oil or Tom yam paste (seeloknya minyaknya shj- 1/2 sudu kecil). Daun ketumbar dan cili padi
  8. Bila Tom yam tadi dah menggelegak, tutup api. Leh la siram dalam bekas hidangan. Siap!
