Bahan-bahan ( 5-6 orang )

  • 5 sudu teh ketumbar
  • 3 sudu teh jintan manis
  • 2 sudu teh jintah putih
  • 2 inci halia
  • 2 inci kunyit hidup
  • 2 batang serai - diracik
  • 4 ulas bawang merah
  • 3 ulas bawang putih
  • 3 batang serai - dititik
  • Air asam jawa - agak2 la ikut kemasaman asam jawa korang
  • Santan - Agak2 jek sebab xnk terlalu berlemak, kalau xnk letak pn xpe
  • Seekor ayam kampung yang telah dipotong
  • Minyak untuk menumis
  • Garam dan gula
  • Cili padi - sekiranya ingin pedas
  • Sehelai daun kunyit - dihiris halus

Cara-cara

  1. 1. Kisar ketumbar, jintan manis, jintan putih, halia, kunyit, serai, bawang merah dan bawang putih.
  2. 2. Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan yang telah dikisar dan 3 batang serai yang dititik tadi hingga naik bau dan naik minyak.
  3. Masukkan ayam dan gaul sebati. Masukkan juga air dan biarkan mendidih.
  4. Setelah mendidih masukkan santan dan air asam jawa. Masukkan juga garam dan gula.
  5. Teruskan memasak sehingga kuah agak kering dan ayam telah empuk.
  6. Masukkan daun kunyit, gaul sebati dan tutup api. Selamat mencuba.
