Probably a noob question but... when I switch to the proxy files, I get a black band on the right and left side, and the image is squeezed a little. When I switch back to the original video, the black bands go away.
Complicating the situation, I'm using 4k video (3840 X 2160) @ 30fps from 3 cameras and 1080p video from one camera, and outputting 1080p. (4-camera live music shoot.) The sequence setting I'm using is the DSLR preset at 1080p, 30fps. Proxy setting is Apple Pro Res. To make it even more complicated, my HD video is at 60fps. That's why, rather than dragging the HD video into the timeline to create a new sequence, I'm using the Premiere DSLR preset at 30fps to match the other 3 cameras.
Do I need different settings for the proxy files, or the sequence, or do I just live with the black bands in proxy mode and assume they'll go away when I render the video?
